How do I know I'm getting fresh coffee?

Every bag shows the roast date. All coffees we ship have rested at least 5 days after roasting, giving the aromas time to settle and develop fully.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Order on a business day before 12:00? We hand the parcel to the courier the same day, between 14:00 and 16:00. Your coffee typically arrives the next business day, anywhere in Romania. Orders placed after 12:00 or on non-business days ship the following business day.

Should I choose whole bean or ground?

Have a grinder or automatic espresso machine? Choose whole bean and grind only what you need each time. No grinder? Ground coffee works just as well — pick the grind that matches your brewer: espresso, filter, moka or French press.

Which tier suits me: CORE, EXPLORE or VISION?

CORE is a great starting point if you enjoy full-bodied coffees with chocolate notes. Choose EXPLORE for fruitier, more origin-forward flavours, and VISION for floral, complex profiles. For your first specialty order, start with the flavours you already enjoy.

How do I store coffee after opening the bag?

The bag is resealable: close it well after each use and store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat. Avoid the fridge — coffee absorbs moisture and odours easily. If you chose whole bean, grind only what you need right before brewing.

Specialty coffee from Colombia

Pink Bourbon, the variety that took Colombia to the top of specialty coffee competitions, is not a pink Bourbon. DNA analysis in 2017 confirmed it is an Ethiopian landrace, arriving in the Colombian Andes through unknown routes and evolving there over decades. Colombia is also the only South American country harvesting coffee twice a year, with Huila holding a protected Denomination of Origin since 2013 and average farm sizes of just 1.5 hectares.

The FNC lifted its natural processing ban in 2015, triggering an explosion of fermentation experimentation. Finca Inmaculada won three world championships between 2015 and 2021 using selected yeasts and controlled double fermentation. Current catalog lots come from Huila and Valle del Cauca, with washed, natural, and fermented processing covered depending on the season.
